[vc_row type=”container” padding_top=”” padding_bottom=””][vc_column][vc_column_text]As a sub-group of IFA, Young IFA was established on an initiative adopted in 2005 particularly for young members in the early stages of their career in the framework of IFA\u2019s general objectives. The Committee consisting of young IFA members is committed to developing, proposing and implementing ideas and programs, both at the Branch level and worldwide, to make IFA still more attractive to young members.<\/p>\n

The Committee will;<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • facilitate communication among young members (incl. LL.M. candidates and Phd. Students);<\/li>\n
  • initiate and support activities and programs aiming primarily at young members;<\/li>\n
  • identify opportunities for increased participation of young members in IFA.<\/li>\n
  • work towards providing local and global discussion forums for young tax professionals throughout the world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    For this purpose, IFA headquarters has highly encouraged the establishment of Young IFA organizations within country branches. In line with this objective, Ege Berber and Altan Ren\u00e7ber have been selected as the founders of Turkey\u2019s first Young IFA group as a result of the voting in the general assembly in 2014.<\/p>\n

    Having started working immediately after its incorporation, Young IFA has initiated and still successfully continues a series of presentation which combines the perspectives of practitioner-academic-authority by means of its organizations titled \u201cNew Theses, Young Voices\u201d.

    Att. Canan Doksat works as a Managing Associate and Tax Leader in the Tax Department of Erdem & Erdem Law Office. Prior to joining Erdem & Erdem Law Office, she worked at EY Turkey for 9 years.<\/p>\n

    Canan Doksat completed her high school education at Saint-Joseph French High School in 2005 and her undergraduate study at Ko\u00e7 University Law Faculty in 2010. In 2021, she completed her master’s degree within the scope of Economic Law programme of Bilgi University and prepared her master’s thesis on \u201cSpin-Off of Non-Public Companies & Protection of Creditors\u201d.<\/p>\n

    Being a member of International Fiscal Association (IFA) as well, Ms. Doksat is a member of Istanbul Bar Association- Administrative and Tax Law Commission. She is fluent in Turkish, English and French.<\/p>\n

    Att. \u00d6zge K\u0131sac\u0131k works as an associate in the Tax Department of Erdem & Erdem Law Office.<\/p>\n

    \u00d6zge K\u0131sac\u0131k completed her undergraduate study at Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2017 and her master’s degree within the scope of Private Law master’s programme of Istanbul University in 2022. Within the scope of master degree, Ms. K\u0131sac\u0131k prepared her thesis titled as \u201cCapital Increase from Internal Resources and Tax-Related Elements\u201d.<\/p>\n

    Being a member of International Fiscal Association – Young IFA as well, Ms. K\u0131sac\u0131k is a member of Istanbul Bar Association \u2013 Administrative & Tax Law Commission. She is fluent in Turkish and English.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][\/vc_tta_accordion][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n
